About Mickie James

Mickie Laree James-Aldis is a professional wrestler and singer. She is best known for her time in WWE and Impact Wrestling.

James started wrestling in 1999. She was a valet for wrestlers on the independent circuit. James also trained at different camps to get better before she worked as a professional wrestler for NWA: Total Nonstop Action in 2002.

After only a few appearances, she joined a stable called The Gathering. She was written into storylines with the group. She is the only woman to be involved in matches for people to have fun at.

James made her WWE debut in 2005. She was placed in a story with Trish Stratus. Her gimmick was that of an obsessed fan who became a stalker. The story lasted for eight months and she won the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 22, five times.

James won her championship in 2009. She beat Maryse at Night of Champions, the same year she became one of five Divas to be both Women’s and Divas Champion. After this, she left WWE and went back to TNA, where she then became a 3-time Knockout champion.
