Haley Bennett About

Haley Bennett was born on January 7, 1988.

She was born in Santa Monica, California and raised in Malibu by her mother, Elizabeth Bennett (née Wilcox), a charity worker-turned-yoga instructor. Her father is Paul David Bleicken ́(born October 26, 1955).

She has three brothers: Quinn (born September 15 1991) who attends the University of Southern California as an environmental engineering major; Tyler (who played “Scotty” on Mad Men); and Justin Stumphauzer.

Haley attended Buena High School from 2003 until she graduated in 2006 with honors classes in theater arts and visual art which she took throughout high school to prepare for possible careers as either a graphic designer or artist. In 2008 she began to work as a professional actress.

She is an avid surfer and has surfed since she was ten years old, when her father introduced the sport to her in Santa Barbara County.

Haley began modeling at thirteen years of age, while still attending high school; later walking for designers including Oscar de la Renta, Nanette Lepore, Ralph Lauren Collection, Marc Jacobs (the designer of whom she is now part of his global ad campaign), Anna Sui New York 2006/2007 spring haute couture show and Emilio Pucci Spring 2007 Couture Show.
