Walter Bruce Willis was born in Germany. He moved to the United States when he was 2 years old. His career started on an off-Broadway stage. One of his most famous roles is that of John McClane in the Die Hard series.

Willis’s other credits include Hudson Hawk (1991), Pulp Fiction (1994), 12 Monkeys (1995), Last Man Standing (1996), The Fifth Element (1997), Mercury Rising(1998) and more.

As a singer, Willis released his first album called The Return of Bruno in 1987. He also released two more albums in 1989 and 2001. In 2015, he acted on Broadway for the first time in Misery. Willis has received many awards during his career including a Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards. He also got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame when he was still singing full-time.
