About Britt Robertson

Britt Robertson was born in California on APRIL 18, 1990. Her mother was a seamstress and her father an auto mechanic who had restored old cars as a hobby since childhood.

Robertson began acting at age 12 with local theater companies such as the Los Angeles Foothills Theater Company, but has spoken about how she always wanted to be behind-the-scenes instead of performing onstage herself.

She made her television debut for “E.R.” in 2005 before becoming one of Hollywood’s up and coming young stars thanks to roles in films like ‘Scream Queens’ (2011) where Robertson played Emma/Bree Tanner – a teen vampire turned into a half human by another vampiress named Victoria; ‘The First Time,’ opposite Dylan O’Brien;and ‘A Walk Among the Tombstones,’ with Liam Neeson.

Robertson has also been on-screen in television series such as ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager,’ and appears regularly as Hayley, one of three vampire sisters in T.V.’s new hit show “The Vampire Diaries.” She is currently starring alongside Rose McGowan and Jane Lynch in a film called ‘Charlie Countryman’ about an innocent young man who starts to live out his fantasies after meeting a woman from Romania.

In May 2013 she graduated from New York and after that she started to work as an actress in Hollywood. She was seen on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” and she has played a vampire named Emma/Bree Tanner, who lived with Victoria (played by Rachelle Lefevre) for about half her life before being killed by another vampiress named Lucy (played by Katie Cassidy).

Robertson is currently starring alongside Rose McGowan and Jane Lynch in a film called ‘Charlie Countryman’ about an innocent young man who starts to live out his fantasies after meeting Olga’s mother from Romania only to find that he might be leading himself into danger.
