About Zendaya

Zendaya is an actress and singer. She started her career when she was a child, as a model and dancer. Now she is famous for her role as Rocky on the Disney show Shake It Up!

In 2013, Zendaya was a contestant on the show “Dancing with the Stars”. In 2015 and 2018, she played the part of K.C. Cooper in a TV show called “K.C. Undercover” that made her popular. In 2019 Zendaya started playing another role as a teenager who struggles with drug addiction on “Euphoria”. She won an Emmy Award for best lead actress in this part because it is so good!

She has starred in the musical drama The Greatest Showman, the superhero movie Spider-Man: Homecoming and its sequel Spider-Man: Far from Home, and the romantic drama Malcolm & Marie.

Zendaya started her music career by recording songs and releasing them. She had two singles, “Swag It Out” and “Watch Me.” The latter was a song with Bella Thorne. She signed with Hollywood Records in 2012 and released her first single, “Replay.”

In 2013 she released her self-titled first album. It made it to No. 51 on the Billboard 200 chart. Her song “Rewrite the Stars” was taken from the soundtrack for The Greatest Showman and it reached the top 20 in Australia and United Kingdom. It was also a double platinum hit in America, England, and Australia.
