About Teresa Palmer
Teresa Palmer was born on February 26 1986 in Melbourne, Victoria. Palmer’s first major role was as the character of Donna Freedman on long-running Australian soap opera Home and Away . In 2007 she starred opposite Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish in the film Candy (2006).
In 2009 Palmer appeared with Sam Worthington and Tom Sizemore in the movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010) directed by Jon Turteltaub for Disney. She also took a supporting role alongside Nicolas Cage in Season of the Witch (2011).
Palmer has been nominated twice for an AACTA Award—in 2008 for Best Actress: Television Series Drama for her portrayal of Donna Freedman from Home And Away, which she lost to co-star Jessica Marais.
She is married to former Home and Away co-star, Todd Lasance.
