About Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde was born on March 10 1984 and her full name is Olivia Jane Cockburn. She was born in New York City, United States but now she lives with husband Jason Sudeikis and their two children Otis Alexander (born 2014) and Daisy Josephine (born 2015).

Her first three major film roles were as a high school student in “Alpha Dog”, followed by a college girl who thinks she has unwittingly killed her boyfriend’s sister in the thriller “The Girl Next Door” alongside Emile Hirsch.

She currently works on television for the HBO drama series “Bored to Death”. In 2013 Wilde starred opposite Meryl Streep in Steven Spielberg’s biographical war drama film about Margaret Thatcher, entitled The Iron Lady.

As an actress, Wilde received three Emmy Award nominations for her role as a result of playing the protagonist in one season and co-starring with Jon Hamm on three seasons of HBO’s “The Newsroom”.
