About Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Mary Elizabeth Winstead was born in 1984 in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

She is an American actress and musician best known for her work with David Fincher’s 2007 film Zodiac as well as the television series Fargo (2014) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010).

Winstead was born to a Southern Baptist family of 11 children, ten sisters and one brother on November 28, 1984. She attended MCC-Rocky Mount where she played clarinet in the school band before graduating from high school at age sixteen to pursue acting full time.

Keira Knightley has a younger sister who also models – Savannah Knightley – born 1989.
