Kaya Scodelario was born on March 13, 1992, in Haywards Heath, the U.K., Her parents are both from Brazil, and she has two sisters. Kaya Scodelario is an English actress who became known for her role as Effy Stonem in the EIT TV series Skins, a program about teenage life on drugs, sex, crime and emotional crises.
Kaya began acting at age 16 when cast to play Maia Campbell in The Cut: Teenage Girls Tell All. Her other notable roles include lead female character Cara Phillips-Ammaalovna Marenskaieva in Of Gods And Men (2010), Melanie Andrews-Miles Macklin’s mother in the 2013 film Now Is Good was based on Jenny Downham’s 2006 novel Before I Die.
Now Kaya Scodelario is a British actress known for her starring roles in films such as The Maze Runner and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. She has starred in several T.V. series, including Skins, Casualty, and most recently Netflix’s Lost In Space reboot, where she plays Penny Robinson opposite Toby Stephens (who played Captain Flint).
