John Christopher Depp II was born on June 9, 1963. He is an actor, producer, and musician. He has been in many movies and won one award for the movie Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
In 1984, Depp made his debut in the horror movie called “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. He became famous for a television show called “21 Jump Street” in 1987. In the 1990s, he acted mostly in independent films. These included What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Benny and Joon, Dead Man and Donnie Brasco. He also worked with director Tim Burton and starred in Edward Scissorhands and Ed Wood.
In the 2000s, Depp became a very successful actor. He made movies that people liked to see. One of his favorite movies was Finding Neverland. And he also worked with Tim Burton in two more movies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Sweeney Todd.
In 2012, Depp was one of the world’s biggest film stars. He is also one of the highest paid actors in the world. In 2010, he started his own company and made a rock band with other people called Hollywood Vampires.
