About Emma Stone
Emma Stone was born in Scottsdale, Arizona. Krista (née Stone), a homemaker, and Jeffrey Charles Stone, a contracting company owner who passed away when Emma was two.
She graduated from high school at age 20 and began to study acting after college. At the same time, she lived with her mother on California’s Central Coast for five years before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue her film career full-time.
Stone’s breakout performance came in 2010, playing an aspiring actress in Woody Allen’s romantic comedy “Café Society.”
Now Emma stone has been doing well as an actor over the past few years and will be seen again next year in Avengers: Infinity War.
Emma Stone had a struggling past where she was bullied in school for her red hair and freckles; she even had a stutter. But now, Stone has said that it helped with her acting because she used to try hard not to talk or be seen as herself around people, so she could fully play the role when portraying other characters.
Stone is an advocate of mental health awareness. She suffers from generalized anxiety disorder and fears social situations where there’s more than one person at a time, especially if they’re strangers.
Emma stone’s father died of leukemia on September 11, 2001, just two months after Emma turned five years old.
