About Elle Fanning
On April 9, 1998, Elle Fanning was born in Conyers, Georgia, to Heather Joy (King) and Steven J. Fanning.
She has an older sister named Allie, who is five years her senior. Her uncle is Sam King of the band “Giant Sand” while her aunt was Geena Davis with whom she starred as sisters in the film “The Long Kiss Goodnight” when they were only 11 and 12 respectively. As a child actor, Elle made appearances on episodes of T.V. shows such as “E.R.”, “Malcolm in the Middle,” and The Bernie Mac Show.”
Now Elle Fanning is 16; she has starred in “Superman Returns,” “War of the Worlds”, and “The Twilight Saga.”
She is also set to star as ‘Ripley’ in a remake of Ridley Scott’s 1979 sci-fi/horror movie, Alien, scheduled for release on October 11, 2017.
Along with acting, Elle loves singing but doesn’t take voice lessons because her older sister used to do it, so she chooses not to have anything else tied up with Allie. She practices by recording herself and then listening back, just like singers often do before going into the studio.
