Chloe Grace Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia on February 10 1997 to Teri and Palak Moretz.

She is the youngest of four children with her two older sisters Emily and Samantha (born 1993) and her brother Trevor (born 1996). Her parents are both film directors who met at Indiana University where they were studying cinema before dropping out to pursue their careers. She has been acting since she was six years old when she appeared as Young CeeCee Wilkes in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button .

Chloe Grace’s first major role came three years later when she starred opposite Sean Penn in I Am Sam which made her a household name for tweens everywhere.

Now she is a bonafide Hollywood star who can open a movie at the box office (she famously starred in Kick-Ass as Hit Girl) and she is not done acting.

She next stars opposite Liam Neeson in Taken on January 30 2012 which comes out Friday February 18, also known for her role in The Amityville Horror
