About Brock Lesnar

Brock Edward Lesnar was born in 1977. He is an American-Canadian professional wrestler, retired mixed martial artist, and professional football player. He is best known for his time on WWE and UFC.

After Lesnar finished his college wrestling at Bismarck State College and the University of Minnesota, he signed up with WWE. He was asked to become a part of their developmental promotion in Ohio Valley Wrestling. There, Lesnar won three times as an OVW Southern Tag Team Champion with Shelton Benjamin. After WWE brought him on to the main show, he became champion five months after his debut at 25 years old.

Following his loss in 2004 to Eddie Guerrero and his match with Goldberg, Lesnar left WWE. He played football but was not on a team for long. In 2005, he wrestled again in Japan and won a championship.

In 2006, Lesnar decided to keep fighting in MMA. He joined a team called Hero’s and won his first fight against Min-Soo Kim. The UFC hired him in October 2007. In 2008, he beat Randy Couture to become the heavyweight champ of UFC.

Brock is a fighter and he has to fight sometimes. He had an illness. It was hard for him to have the match with Mir again. But he did it anyway. Brock beat Shane Carwin and became the champion!
