Brie Larson was born on October 1, 1989 in Sacramento, California. She is the daughter of Karen , a nurse practitioner and Larry Larson who worked as an insurance broker.

Now she is doing well in her career. She did supporting roles in the comedy film, The House Bunny (2008) and in All About Steve (2009).

She also did voice of Kayla Brown in How to Train Your Dragon as well.

In 2016 she won an Academy Award for Best Actress at the 89th Oscars ceremony. She has been nominated thrice before it but failed to win any until now. This movie is based on a true story that took place during WWII when Allied forces liberated Nazi concentration camps from 1945-46 where they found people who were starved or tortured and then died due to typhus fever .
